Den Samstag (Samstag ist für mich irgendwie immer der Relaxing-Tag) nutzte ich wieder, um auszuschlafen, viel zu lesen und zu essen und meine Arbeit weiter- bzw beinahe fertigzuschreiben. Am Abend schlachtete ich dann die Papaya, garnierte sie mit reichlich Honig und ließ sie mir schmecken.
Dann folgte eine Diskussion about the comparison of our malaria medication, or especially the effect, efficacy and side effects, so are on my really quite heavy and some passages left me laughing almost falling on the ground - which, thank God, a contradiction to the described effects on the psyche (up to psychosis, depression, increased suicide risk is ,...). Tilman looked at me sometimes as if he were afraid, my laughing fit could already be one of the psychological effects of the drug.
met the evening we with Elias at Arat Kilo to go away. Our first stop, however, was not really what we normally "go away" means: We went to a House of a friend, turn in which a friend wanted a music clip. In fact, a camera crew was there, somehow I got not so with all what was going on there, as then the guy who was more or less of the "singer" and Star, suggested that I should even there somewhere rumhampeln with his dancers, twisted I'd rather fast. Except Tilman and me there was a Belgian teacher as only white and the very reason we ended up but somehow as a background dancer in the rotation ...
I asked what the plan actually with the footage then. Whether this will also be published. "Yes, it is then shown on ETV (Ethiopian TV, the only state broadcasts). Apparently was the only embarrassing, because apart from me there seemed anyone who was not immediately available on or rotary only "minor role" had either beer or chat, or his beduselt both.
Sunday was our hike to Wascha St. Mikael Church, a church on a rocky hill near to Addis. brought by minibus to the foot of the mountain, I was once again firmly in the ascent, that bothers me the level to still by physical effort. Well, either the amount or malaria prophylaxis, or greatly reduced my sports activities - but probably all three. So I fairly gasped and realized that I had to pull myself together pretty much, because my Kreislauf einfach schlappmachte.
Irgendwann kreuzten dann eine Frau und ein Mädchen mit drei Eseln unseren Weg. Und prompt bekam ich das Angebot, auf einem der Esel hinaufzureiten. Ich hätte annehmen sollen, wäre immerhin eine nette Erfahrung gewesen. Allerdings wurde ich schon vorgewarnt, meine Hose werde dann stinkig (und ich trug meine Lieblingsjeans), überdies wollte ich nicht als faul erscheinen und setzte so meinen Weg zu Fuß fort, auch wenn mir reiten bedeutend lieber gewesen wäre. Wir erreichten die Felsenkirche jedoch schon bald. Wie Lalibela aus dem Stein herausgeformt, allerdings schon großteils eingefallen bzw durch italienische Bomben zerstört, durchstreiften wir mit dem Führer die Ruine, bevor wir durch the eucalyptus forest to the slope, which lies to the city down, left, of which one has a magnificent view of Addis Ababa, from even much better than Entoto.
