Chaos Day weekend
was short, the day from the beginning to the end of a mess. I woke up this
was originally full of good things. First of all the Internet does not work (big Minutspunkt). The compensation for this was that the German intern would now arrive at night - even if unbarmherzigerweise clock at 00:30.
The morning dragged on with small tasks as then - then a power failure. So just again wait a few minutes. I had already enjoyed huge thirst for lunch and looking forward to lasagna. Because after a while there was still nothing, I went on break at the cafeteria (in which there was also no electricity), where there were no more lasagna and I had to be content with warm spaghetti. By 14:00 clock electricity again. We had a workshop of the WEEE (Association of Ethiopians Educated in Germany). Just when it should start - power failure again. So the event was held in the shadows in the showroom. I had also invited Mary, but we moved us to an hour. Because of some long past stays in Germany, the event was held in English. Or what is here in part as English. I had invited Maria - but after an hour we were capitulating to the resignation: times understood apart from the speech of the German Ambassador, we just as good as anything. The other Ethiopians, moreover, apparently not - the room was constantly moving, soon had the 1 / 3 (temporarily) evaporated on to the outside.
Extremely nice then that was followed by dinner. The lecturers from the Institute for Education Research "invited me to visit it once, just in case I wanted to take a few documents for my studies. The food of the buffet was great (especially meat and fish again!)
Irgendwann fanden wir uns dann doch wieder zusammen, fuhren zurück and after I had given him even a short briefing Addis (and a few birr notes), I arrived at 3:30 but still sleeping.
